The fastest way to reach Ravenna are the main roads and highways. - From the North, Ravenna can be reached by the highway A14 from Bologna, where the highways A1 (Del Sole), A21 Torino-Piacenza and A22 (Del Brennero) come together.
- From Venice, the fastest way is the state road 309 “Romea”, where the roads from Padua and Ferrara join.
- From the South, in addiction to the highways A1 and A14, we indicate the main road E45 which links Ravenna to Rome through the Apennine, and the state road A16 “Adriatica”.
The airports of Bologna (G. Marconi), Forlì (G. Ridolfi), Rimini (Miramare) and Venezia (Marco Polo), are connected to the most important Italian and European cities with scheduled services and charter flights. From Bologna, Ravenna can be reached by car or by train in about two or three hours; Ravenna can be reached by car in about two hours from Venice and in less than one hour from Forlì and Rimini. The railway line offers links with the North and the Centre-South of Italy through the lines Rimini-Ferrara, Ravenna-Bologna and Ravenna-Florence.
