A trip at the beginning of the myth of Ravenna, the town which has been capital for three times: firstly, it was the capital of the Western Roman Empire, then of the Kingdom of the Ostrogoth and finally of the Byzantine Empire. The occasion is given by the discovery of a temple and its wonderful floor mosaic: the Basilica of San Severo, the saint celebrated throughout the whole Christian world and who was the twelfth Bishop of Ravenna.

An extraordinary archaeological exhibition, which reconstructs the golden age of the 6th century trough the basilicas, the marvellous finds, the mosaics and the protagonists of that period: Bishops and Saints, Bankers, Kings, who made the Mediterranean and the Byzantine history.
